One dead after hit and run

DORAL, Fla. (WSVN) -- A hit-and-run accident on the Palmetto Expressway leaves one dead.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a car clipped a speeding motorcycle traveling southbound in the area of Northwest 36th Street, Saturday afternoon.

The car did not stop.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead en route to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Police want to question the driver of the vehicle.
