A busy Palm Springs roadway was closed Saturday evening after a crash involving a pedestrian. Authorities said the crash happened at South Congress Avenue and Greenbriar Drive. Officials closed Congress Avenue in both directions while an investigation was performed. The victim of the crash was flown by helicopter to a hospital. The condition of the victim was not known.
