Loggerhead Club & Marina•Riviera Beach™ Wins
“Marine Project of the Year”

Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County, Inc. Beacon of Light Award

JUPITER, FL – Seven Kings Holdings, Inc., the premier South Florida marina development and holdings company, announces Loggerhead Club & Marina Riviera Beach™, has won the Marine Project of the Year Fourth Annual Beacon of Light Award from the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County, Inc. The Marine Industry Association of Palm Beach County, Inc. credits the boating industry in Florida as a $15.7 billion dollar annual enterprise; The Beacon of Light Award recognizes the achievements of outstanding organizations, individuals and projects that have extensive positive impact on the marine industry. The Marine Project of the Year is awarded to the person or organization who initiated, is responsible for, defended, promoted or otherwise supported a project that enhances boating opportunities in the Palm Beaches.

Loggerhead Club & Marina•Riviera Beach is a direct access marina with no fixed bridges less than 65’, with large boat storage facilities, waterfront access, indigenous tin roofed architecture, lush landscaping, and ample space between buildings and walkways for the public. The importance of this marina project is paramount in light of the $50 million dollars initiative passed by Palm Beach County voters to preserve and enhance public waterfront access for boaters.

Loggerhead Club & Marina•Riviera Beach™ significantly provides public access to the Intracoastal and allows for the safe harbor and storage of larger boats. Loggerhead Club & Marina•Riviera Beach™, has plans for inside dry storage for more than 300 boats up to 45 feet in length, requiring construction of two of the largest marine fork lifts that have ever been built.

Formerly known as Inlet Harbor Marina, Loggerhead Club & Marina•Riviera Beach™, is under construction on Blue Heron Boulevard on the direct Intracoastal waterfront overlooking Singer Island, just West of Phil Foster Park.

“There are nearly 830,000 registered vessels, and 400,000 visiting vessels annually operating in Florida, says Seven Kings Holdings, Inc. Chairman, JC Solomon, II. “We feel that the coming of this project is great news because of the estimated $42 billion dollars worth of property damage done to Florida in the 2004 hurricanes, including damage to many of the marinas and docks in South Florida.” Loggerhead Club & Marina•Riviera Beach™ is of importance as one of the first completely new marina and boat storage facilities to be underway for the public since the impact of the four hurricanes hitting Florida in 2004.

The Marine Industry Association reports that the positive fiscal impact of Florida's recreational boating industry is twice as great as the citrus industry, with a total economic output of seven billion dollars more than the citrus industry. Florida's marine industry represents related employment estimated at over 180,000 jobs, with an outstanding average growth rate of 26.0% annually over the last 20 years.

Loggerhead Club & Marina•Riviera Beach™, is less than five minutes from the Palm Beach Inlet, with no bridges or other obstructions less than 65’ preventing full access and enjoyment. The Marina will supply all of the needs of the area’s boaters, with full marina service seven days a week, marine retail stores providing electronics, canvas and fishing equipment, a professionally stocked ship's store, fueling facilities, onsite repairs, maintenance and brokerage, and storage lockers for oversized fishing and boating gear.
