Florida Jet Expands Charter Fleet and Operating Area with Gulfstream III Purchase

Fort Lauderdale, Florida – Florida Jet Service, a premier aircraft charter provider, announced today the expansion of their charter fleet with the addition of Gulfstream III, serial number 437.

Traditionally know for unsurpassed Learjet charter service, Florida Jet has broadened their capabilities, allowing them to accommodate larger passenger loads with the purchase of the 12 passenger Gulfstream. With the longer range Gulfstream, Florida Jet has also increased its area of operation to include Europe and Asia in addition to North, South and Central America and the Caribbean.

Florida Jet Center, Florida Jet’s maintenance division, is training mechanics with plans to eventually extend maintenance services to include Gulfstreams. There are also possible plans for Florida Jet Parts to begin expansion into Gulfstream rotables.

“It was a natural progression for our business,” stated Terry Robertson, President of Florida Jet. “Now our charter customers have more options. The Gulfstream can carry more passengers, and we can take them around the globe with the elegance, service and professionalism they have come to expect. Learjets will always be the core of our maintenance and parts business, but we will also begin to expand those services for Gulfstreams on a progressive and on-going basis.”
