Boca Raton, Florida. Boca Raton magazine is looking for a few good faces—to compete for the cover girl for its 2006 July-August issue. This is the fifth annual cover girl competition the magazine has undertaken; the contest is a hallmark of the magazine’s annual Best of Boca issue, its best-selling magazine of the year.
Interested contestants may either send in a picture with contact information to Cover Girl, Boca Raton magazine, 6413 Congress Avenue, Suite 100, Boca Raton, Florida, 33487 or show up in person at the magazine’s cover girl sign-up booth at Town Center Mall on Saturday, February 18 and Saturday February 25 in the Nordstrom wing.
Stylists from Al Stephens’ Salons will be on hand to touch up hair and make-up for the contestants who will be photographed by Boca Raton magazine’s staff photographer at that time. The sign-up booth will be open both Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The entry fee for all contestants is $15, which will be donated to the Golden Bell Education Foundation of the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce. All contestants must be at least 18 years of age.
The winner will appear on the cover of Boca Raton magazine’s July-August Best of Boca issue and win a professional photo shoot from M Management Model Agency.
