CIRCUIT COURT JUDICIAL VACANCY RESULTING FROM THE DEATH OF THE HONORABLE ROBERT J. SIMMS

TALLAHASSEE -- The Thirteenth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission meetings to fill the Circuit Court vacancy created by the death of Judge Robert Simms will be held on June 1 and June 2, 2004, at the offices of Cary Gaylord, of the law firm of Gaylord, Merlin, Lodovici, Diaz & Bain, located at 5001 West Cypress, Tampa, Florida 33609.

The meeting on June 1st is scheduled for 4 p.m. The meeting on June 2nd, which will commence with interviews of selected judicial applicants, is scheduled for 4 p.m. as well, but this time may be subject to minor adjustment based upon the outcome of the June 1st meeting. In any event, both meetings will be held at the office of the Gaylord law firm, address as noted above.

Applications for this judicial vacancy must be received no later than 5 p.m. on May 10, 2004, at the offices of Hill, Ward & Henderson, P.A., Bank of America Plaza, 101 E.
