January 3, 2009, I called Direct TV to cancell my account.. During the month of Dec 12-22-09 I called several times. All my calls should be on records. In May, I received an statement 5-18-2010 and I called again and I was told not worry about your account is cancelled you do have any balance. Again another statement and more calls, I called again and the same answered, not worry your account is cancelled. 9-2-2010 more calls from Collection department for mas de $400 dollares. I explained that I did not owen any money to Direct TV, my balance was 0, then they passed me to another department , I explained again my situation, the employee by the name of Abdul employee # # PA1760, take care me very nicely and he was spoken to his supervisor and the call was lost. I was unable to contact the same agent again. We are on 2011 and I still receiving nasty calls, I do not know if this have not being resolve by a neglicency or burocaracy. At this time I was told that my understanding balance e amount is $234.20. I have an excellent credit and for the neglicence of the /direct TV agents, I see myself in this scenario which give me a lot of stress. I believed that after many attends, that I did to cancell my account, my account should be cancelled, I should not paid for the error or negligency of DTV. I always paying DTv on time and never was late.
I sent an e-mail to DTV on Oct 10,2010 and I was told; I am sorry,your account was not process correctly and for more than a year still in the system. Please help me, I am a senior citizen unemploy.
